Beautiful Photos of very special places Lorraine.  Glad to have visited a few of these myself.  My visit to the Umayyad Mosque in Syria, and the tomb of Ali’s head was very moving for me.  You could FEEL the sorrow in the room as pilgrims filed through wailing.  I hope to get to Karballa some day to see where the rest of Ali is interred…..take care.

Lorraine…..the pictures of the tombs you have visited are interesting, but it would be nice if there were captions below the pictures so that one knows what he or she is looking at.
