Architecture helps me. This goes beyond the pleasure of inhabiting a well-designed space. It’s about transcendence at times. And nowhere is this more apparent to me than in the contemplation of the interior of domes. When I first began seriously traveling and photographing four years ago, turning my camera so that the lens was perpendicular to the ground was an act that always brought peace.

These domes, not in order, are from Isfahan, Mahan, Herat, Peshawar, Istanbul, Bandar-e-Anzali, Makoo, Soltanieh, Kermanshah, Delhi, Lahore, Tunis, Krakow, Jerash and the Golan Heights.
